Samuel Wolf is senior counsel in the Franchise practice group at Greenspoon Marder. He represents both state and national franchise clients in both transaction and litigation matters.
Samuel Wolf’s practice encompasses a wide range of industry experience, including defense of government investigations and work with staffing and professional services, retail, and other franchises. Mr. Wolf’s practice centers on negotiating and drafting corporate and franchise related agreements, preparing and registering franchise disclosure documents, area development agreements, termination agreements, beer distribution agreements, closing acquisition and sale transactions, resolving regulatory problems and advising clients on regulatory and franchisee/franchisor relational matters in mergers and acquisitions. He also has experience providing business and corporate counsel to privately held businesses and family owned businesses.
A graduate of Southwestern Law School, Mr. Wolf received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship from 2010-2012, and the CALI “Excellence for the Future” Award, in Trial Advocacy Seminar.
While attending Southwestern, Mr. Wolf served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Philip S. Gutierrez, United States District Court Judge for the Central District of California. He also interned at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, where he prepared a draft memorandum that became an official part of the presiding judge’s sentencing decision.
While studying for his dual majors at the University of Wisconsin, Mr. Wolf worked for a Division of Goldman Sachs as an analyst for its Western Regional Commercial Real Estate Investment Team – evaluating profitability potential, analyzing geographic statistics and converting findings into cash flow models.
A member of the California Bar Franchise Law Committee and American Bar Association Forum on Franchising, Mr. Wolf has been recognized as one of Southern California’s Rising Stars in Franchise & Dealership law by Super Lawyers Magazine.
He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the State of California and the United States District Court, Central District of California.
