Greenspoon Marder partner Brett M. Buterick has been recognized as a 2023 “New Jersey Rising Star” by Super Lawyers magazine. Mr. Buterick has been ranked consecutively in the Rising Stars category since 2019.

Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Each year, the Super Lawyers publication recognizes the top 5% of lawyers across each state via a patented multiphase selection process combining both peer nomination and evaluations with independent research. Like the Super Lawyers selection process, the Rising Stars list uses a patented multiphase selection process combining both peer nomination and evaluations with independent research to select the top attorneys. To be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, however, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger, or in practice for 10 years or less. All attorneys first go through the Super Lawyers selection process first, and those who meet either one of the Rising Stars eligibility requirements go through the second selection process. While up to 5% of the lawyers in the state are named Super Lawyers, no more than 2.5% are named to the Rising Stars list.

He has substantial experience in launching more than 60 franchise brands and annually assists companies navigate state and federal franchise registration and renewal laws.
