Greenspoon Marder Counsels Prolific Sports Lab on Launch of Name, Image, and Likeness Initiatives

Boca Raton, Fla. – December 7, 2022 – Greenspoon Marder is pleased to announce that the firm is counseling and representing Prolific Sports Lab, a sports equipment and apparel company based out of New York. The Greenspoon Marder attorneys advising the client include partner Adam Wasch and associate Josh Goldberg. The firm has assisted in Prolific Sports Lab’s Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) efforts by helping launch the Prolific Program – an affiliate marketing ambassador program. Greenspoon Marder has also supported Prolific Sports Lab in its media and content productions, which includes capturing content for high school athletes in the tristate area, as well as in their merchandise program with said athletes.

Prolific Sports Lab was recently featured on the Westchester News, highlighting its NIL work with Iona Prep high school football players.

High school athletes in certain states, such as New York and New Jersey, can legally take advantage of their Name, Image, and Likeness and enter into agreements with companies. Some states, such as Florida, still prohibit high school athletes from entering NIL deals.
