Wasch and Real Estate associate Frank Whitaker successfully represented the purchaser in connection with the acquisition of eight Tropical Smoothie Cafés located on the Treasure Coast of Florida, in a deal valued at over $5 million. In a little less than a month, assignments, assumptions, and lease negotiations were completed with all landlords involved. Additionally, a $5 million bank loan was negotiated and closed in connection with the transaction.
Mr. Wasch provides more than 40 years of experience in concentrating his practice on franchise industry matters, involving business structuring, entity organization and corporate governance, private equity and debt financing transactions, acquisitions, and sales of businesses, drafting and reviewing software and intellectual property licensing/sale, employment law and human resources issues, trademark matters, purchase contracts, and complex commercial transactions.
